Today’s embellishment testing is brought to you by Watermellish. Testing Tanja’s new hot air balloon design. This one turned out way cuter than my first attempt. I highly recommend reading her tutorials Watermellish.com.au one example she gives is using only a few strands of thread from the yarn (so only 4 of six plies for example). I found this made a world of difference. It seems counterintuitive to me because I feel like more plies should cover more, right? But no, fewer lays flatter and covers the stitches much better AND with less distortion of the original stitches. Brilliant!
